Corrections, coverage ideas, and questions about how we compare.

Desk open Mon–Fri · New York · reply in business days

This page is for readers who have a source to share, a category they want covered, or a plain editorial question. We do not provide medical advice or product recommendations here. If your question is about interactions, dosing, or symptoms, please ask a pharmacist or physician instead.

What to include in a correction request

The strongest corrections arrive with a specific claim, a source, and a location on the page. One clear claim and a traceable source is enough to start.

Name the sentence you question, for example a value stated for magnesium, and tell us the page URL so the editor who owns that page can find it fast. A screenshot helps when the page is long. If you have a study, a regulatory document, or official label text, link it or paste the exact passage.

  • ClaimQuote the sentence word for word and add the page address.
  • SourceLink a study, official guidance, or label text we can open and check.
  • ContextSay what you think the page should state instead, in one or two lines.

Suggesting a category for review

Category suggestions are welcome, and the more specific the better. Tell us what you are trying to compare.

Probiotics is too broad. Multi-strain shelf-stable probiotics sold in United States drugstores is something we can research. Some categories get declined on purpose, and we will say why.

  • Describe the shelf you shop from and the formats you see.
  • Explain the comparison you need, for example daily capsules against powders.
  • Share label photos or store listings when they clarify the range.

Send your note

Choose a topic so the message reaches the right editor. General editorial questions come to the desk, corrections go to the page owner, and category ideas join the coverage queue.

Corrections are checked first. Category ideas wait for the queue.

Please do not include medical details, medication lists, or order numbers. Those are outside what we can handle.

How messages reach the right editor

You do not need to know who owns which page. Note the page address and it routes itself.

General editorial questions

If you want to know why a page was written a certain way, or how a comparison was built, ask. Repeated questions often lead us to revise the page so the next reader gets the answer without writing in.

How We Compare Products explains most of the method.

Response times you can expect

We aim to acknowledge corrections within a few business days and reply substantively once an editor has checked the source. If you need a fast answer, this is not the channel for it.

What happens after you write

You will get an acknowledgment, then either a resolution or a clear explanation of why the point stands. There is no secret process.

  • Confirmed correction gets a date and an entry in the update log.
  • Accepted category joins the coverage queue and appears when researched.
  • Unclear wording may trigger a page edit so future readers are covered.

What we cannot help with

We cannot advise on your specific health situation, review a medication list, recommend a dose, or comment on a product you have already bought.

Reports about a brand business practice belong with the retailer or regulator.

We do not forward messages to brands on your behalf.

For interactions, dosing, or symptoms, ask a pharmacist or physician.

Privacy of what you send

Messages are read by the editorial team and stored so we can follow up. We do not publish a correction note without checking with the sender first, though the factual change may be logged.

If you want to stay anonymous in the log entry, say so and we will describe the change without naming you.

If you are a brand or agency

We do not take paid placements, sponsored reviews, or requests to alter editorial content.

If you hold a document that changes the facts, such as a certificate of analysis or a labeling update, send it as a correction. A pitch is not a correction and will be treated as a pitch.

Read the page first. Then make the correction sharper.

Many incoming questions are already answered in our label guide and comparison method. Knowing what is published makes your note faster to act on, and if the page is genuinely unclear that feedback is worth sending too.

Can you recommend a supplement for me?

No. We explain categories, labels, and test documents in general terms. Personal choice of product, dose, or combination belongs with a pharmacist or physician.

How specific should a category suggestion be?

Name the shelf, the format, and the comparison you need. A narrow, shoppable set is researchable. A single broad word usually is not.

Will my name appear in the update log?

Only with your permission. Ask to stay anonymous and we log the factual change without naming you.

Do you accept brand documents?

Yes, as corrections. A certificate of analysis or labeling update that changes facts is reviewed like any other source. Paid placement requests are declined.

One clear claim and a source is enough.

Send the correction, suggest the shelf you want compared, or ask how a page was built. Supplements are food-adjacent products, not medicines. For personal health decisions, consult a qualified professional.
